Want your guys opinion on which skis to get.

So i have some K2 public enemies and i have a chance to get some 09 K2 Extremes w/bindings for 300,. Would it be worth it to try and sale my PE and get the extremes or is there not much difference between them and should i just save my money for some powder skis. I wanna hear your opinions!
 
not a huge fan of the pe..
havnt skied on the extremes but as far as price...the price is right.
personally id save for the powpow
 
Yeah i've heard a lot of ppl arent big fans of the public enemies but i just recently got back into skiing and i bought them from a friend for a pretty good price and they worked pretty good for me last year. This year i'm hopefully gonna be working a ski resort and skiing a lot more so i think i'll just save for some powder's. But Will the PE be an okay pakr ski, i'm not in the park all the time but I'd like to get better this year.
 
If i can find some used JJ's for an okay price then i'd get them. If money wasn't so tight for me right now(college is expensive) i'd already have them for sure!
 
It'll be fine to park. It won't be playful really at all, butters and stuff will be really hard, but at the end of the day if you can do something on a stiffer ski you can for sure do it on a noodle so its only going to help you I figure. How much do you weigh?
 
Well, I weight almost 200 pounds, and I thought PE's were really stiff. They will still be a fine park ski just don't expect much from buttering. I don't know, I actually really hate PE's. Its funny, they were the first pair of twins i really wanted, based soley on the original graphic. My dad's friend got some off steep and cheap though and i tried them, they are actually the only ski I've ever tried that I just straight did not like. Like, I prefer K2 Recons and shit to them, the flex pattern just seems lifeless to me idk. If I were you I would sell the PE's to a friend or something, give them a good price but not an awesome one, and then you could use that money to buy some old park skis off someone on here, and still use your own money to buy the pow skis.

Newschoolers BST is fucking amazing. A couple months ago I sold a jacket I didn't like that much for a good price to someone that they were happy about, I didn't rip them off or anything, but got what the jacket was worth. I then bought a sick almost brand new Special Blend jacket for like $40 fucking dollars, so now I have a sick new jacket and a pretty decent profit, enough to buy 1/8 of ganja at least.

 
Are the K2 Extremes any better? A friend of mine will sell me 09 k2 extremes for 300, brand new never mounted, with px12 jib bindings.
 
If you are going to spend $300 on new sticks I would not spend it on getting basically just the same ones. I've never tried the Extremes but I'm sure whatever redesign they got if anything was not enough to transform the feeling of the ski.
 
nooooo the extremes have a new topsheet wich makes them a lot lighter and poppier with a ton more life. I have the extremes and the pe defineitly not the same ski.... the 09 extremes with px12 for 300 is actually a pretty good deal and i would really consider taking it
