So I know these kind of threads are annoying to some, but after telemarking (no homo?) for the last 4 years I want to get back into alpine skiing. I've set aside $1000 from my savings to get the gear I want, and with this purchasing power, I'm going to list/describe below the stuff I'm looking for and if you've got it for sale (or something similar), your benefit is you know you have an eager buyer who can PayPal ASAP. I am on the good seller/buyer list and have excellent feedback.
So, here goes...
SKIS
Looking for 1, maybe 2 pairs - with or without bindings (must have 12 DIN or above if mounted, and be ready to accept a 29ish boot). Nothing buttery soft. A long fattish twin I can ski everywhere.
- nothing under 182cm
- nothing under 90 waist
Interested in, but not limited to: Scott Punishers 191, K2s in 189, Volkls above 186
BOOTS
No idea how to shop/what to look for, but I've been wearing a 29.5 Salomon XWave demo boot recently. Not necessarily looking to buy these off here but if you have a Salomon around that size, or a Full Tilt, i'd be interested.
BINDINGS
Wide brakes, DIN at least 12. New or used.
PANTS
XL or above, new or used, not black, and no "standard" or "regular" fits, please. NON -INSULATED ONLY, I already have Oakley OTTs.
Interested in, but not limited to: Oakley Mythic Yellows, Lethal Descent
JACKET
Same as above, though black is OK.
GOGGLES
Crowbars or EG2's only, please. Crowbars need a retro strap and either Pink Iridium, or some sort of sunny-day lens.
Hopefully people won't hate and instead see it as a way to connect a willing/cash-equipped buyer with people trying to sell stuff. PM or post here, I guess.
