Want to help me out with an Environmental paper?

So... I have this English paper I need to write on a really specific topic that I think is too specific. "Change in environmental ethics by people in influential positions in Canada over the last 50 years"
Fuck... I know this is NS, and NSG no less, but I thought before I give myself a self-ban from here to work on it I'd check if anyone on here knows where to begin? Any people in Environmental Sciences?
This is a first year english course so it's not like I need any depth to it. Just need to know where to even go to look. The university library doesn't seem to have much on it, and google is just useless... Wikipedia isn't credible or thorough enough to give me even a remote idea.
Help?

Yep. I agree. He refused to let me do anything less specific because he thought it would be too broad... The class itself has nothing to do with the environment at all.
And thanks on the google scholar man. That'll help out a bunch for sure though most of the results are for books that I'd need to find in hard copy...

Id totally drop that class if i could... at least talk to the guy and explain how its a fucking english class and you should be practicing creativity and whatnot rather than learning how to research random shit.

It is an "academic reading and writing" class, so this is like a practice for research papers. But I agree that this is definitely over the top.

don't get hung up on the word 'ethics'

just look for major environmental policy changes that have happened in canada in the last 50 years and use that.

yea then focus on which person was the cause for these policy changes. what position they are in and work backwards from that. maybe looking at what their predecessors in that position did or didn't.

like what the manitoba premier gary doer recently did with the boreal forest and unesco fund.
