Want proof global warming exists???

this sux i was hoping to hit up creek on my day off of school monday but by the looks of it there will be no more snow on the mountain not that we had much to begin with
 
watch the news tonight and see the records and averages over the years, the record for today in SLC is probably going to be 80degrees and its midwinter. A warm day let alone a warm winter or even 30 don't prove this trend will continue.
 
i thought crazy left wing liberals just made up global warming to further their politcal interests and attack corporate america.... sarcasm

my hill had to temporarily close for 2 weeks from christmas break until the 13th. because it was in the 50s and all the snow melted...
 
aspen's snowfall this year is almost double the 20 year average.. japan got 15ft of snow and some of the california mountains got 10-13ft from their last storm. you live on the east coast, do you expect massive powder dumps?
 
I worked up at Sugarbush instructing today...completley horrendous conditions. It rained all morning, and now there's only about 75% cover on what's open. Probably only 50% if you count all trails. :/

Supposed to snow tonight tho....

we never lost all the snow at my house and now its snowing but i've been very depressed because of this weather
 
yep, I'm here in the middle of Toronto and it feels like spring, fuck that! Was at Blue Mountain yesterday, felt more like water-skiing...
 
some guy says that this is called the january thaw! it happens every year but this is the worst. the weather network is bull sometimes

it snowed lightly on and off today in ottawa. there is probably about 6-10cm of snow on the ground
 
well on the east we dont expect massive storms...we expect temps to be in the negatives right now instead of 60 yesterday. but japan might be getting mroe snow due to global warming...cold siberian air hits warmer water=more snow
 
For 3 days Quebec got over 5C and over 40 mm of rain. We lost about 20 cm of snow. Tomorrow they are calling for -11C and snow. Im still really mad, that hot mass screwed the season.
 
it snowed last night to this morning and now im starting to see signs of green grass... this is a depressing winter
 
Too bad were just in a warming period right now. The fact that your town doesn't have snow doesn't prove shit. If you take the time to look at information, you will see the earth has gone through hundreds of cooling and heating periods. Chill.
 
wow..i thought americans thought global warming was mythical...like the yeti and snow in scotish ski resorts...in england we get completely bombarded with shit about it on the news EVERY DAY!! i propbly shud listen to it...

err... florida is on the east coast and last week it was abnormally cold. people had frost on their cars and it was in the 20's. damn.
 
damn if you don't believe in global warming you're such a stupid moron, wake up!. It's been only few years that it's raining in the middle of the winter it hasn't been like that when I was young I'm pretty sure. ANd why do everywhere they said that the hearth is hotter and hotter everywhere, the Hurricanes this year down south stronger than ever,etc, etc. Damn you need to be a total asshole. Even if you do not believe that it is Pollution, why would you want pollution?
 
60 degrees in mid january has nothing to do with global warming. i am sick of hearing people blaming hot ass days on global warming. if global warming exists, then we would only be seeing about a half a degree difference in average temperature about every decade. not 40 in a month.so far this is just a shitty winter for some. next year it could be -50 for 3 weeks with 20 ft of snow.in fact if global warming does exist then we are more than likely to go into another ice age because of shifting ocean currents.i go to virginia tech and in september this year for a week it was about 20 degrees and snow.So fuck global warming and think snow
 
yeas now it iso cold and i had to turn the heat on in my house now an iceage is coming but wait look out of ur windows in like 2-7 days
