So i just got into park last year and i would say i that i am a decent park skier, however, i am really into it and plan and progressing a lot. I want to get the walls and they will most likely be my ski for the next couple years. Even though i am on the east coast i ski alot of glades and pow. 65% park 35% all mountain
also should i get 161 or 169 im 5'5 and 15 still growin.

the walls would work for you in glades and pow, they are a fatter park ski, id suggest the 169, as you said you are growing and at 15 you grow pretty fast so 169 sounds good centre mounted

well for 1, go with the 169s sense you will be center mounting. and they will be ok in pow, but not that good

Any ski is good in pow if you know how to ski well enough. Kids on NS are too young to remember ripping pow on 210cm GS skis that were maybe 65mm underfoot. It was done, and it was done well.

Yeah but those 210s werent mounted at dead center. Any centered ski will dive, unless of course it has some sort of rocker.

You should be fine, i took my chronics through glades and pow and they were fine, it was more work to keep from sinking in the pow but it was still fun. Plus it's a great leg work out so you can get jacked legs :)

sorry bro...but I disagree....if you center mount and ski mad pow, simply transfer more weight to your tails to keep your tips up. Sure, not as easy as a traditionally mounted ski, but with some tweaks to your technique, it can be done.

it can be done but you will be sitting super backseat all day and be miserable. Idk why anyone who skis "mad pow" would do it on a centermounted park ski. It just wouldnt be fun.

I'm your size and i have 171s and they are just fine. They are just a smidge to long but i will definately grow into them so yeah go for the 169s.Also, I just took my invaders in the glades with about a foot of fresh snow and the were fine and the walls are just a little wider so you should be good there too
