Wall ride advice

there is this really cool feature my mt put up kinda wall ride pyramid shaped thing built up on a mound you can hit it like a hip or 1/4 pipe or jump...

i just need help on this feature... hitting it like a hip - to tap is pretty fun.. but when i try to hit it like a wall ride and i just cant figure it out... i try to ride straight up it and as soon as my skis hit the wall its like i am trying to be on my edge and i kind of slip out/fall.... i feel like my balance is all off and not shifted in the right direction... help!
 
same shit always happens to me, my knees always like come together and i slip out and feel like a royal fucking fool.
any advice would be helpful.
