Wall rack for skis?

Im trying to come up with a way to put my skis on my wall. they are my good skis so i dont want to drill them into the wall or anything. anyone have any ideas.
 
put two nails/tacks/screws into the wall just narrower than the widest point at the nose of the ski, and then hang it from there?
 
Thanks, what i ended up doing was taking a wooden post, about 1" in diameter(found in garage) and screwed that to a piece of window trim. between the posts was about 3/4" gap. i mounted that on the wall and hung my skies to that. same idea as the nail post, just more classy.
