Wake skiing?

the "new school" wake skiing is still very up and coming. it hasnt been refined, so it looks pretty ugly, especially compared to wake boarding and wake skating. give it a few years to get sorted out and i think it could be pretty cool. but for now, its awkward and looks weird.
 
yea technically wake skiing came before wake boarding but not very fun kinda ugly and mechanical, slalom is pretty fun so is air chairing
 
i've done it before, it's pretty fun once you get the hang of it. i do agree with earlier posts though. when you film it and look at yourself, you look kind of ridiculous.
 
i really only slalom waterski but my uncle brought some he borrowed from a friend out to the lake our family goes to every summer and i tried them. it's actually really fun.
 
My exact thoughts. And for some reason, even though I ski instead of snowboard, a wakeboard doesn't feel awkward at all. In fact wakeskis feel wake more awkward.

Looks pretty sick now in my opinion, but once people start figuring out how to throw grabs and stuff in there it will look even better.
 
Wakeskiing is hella Fun. I have a pair of HO ones that are hella fun to mess arround but there kinda heavy for throwing any big tricks. If you are looking for sick wake skis check out Stereo skis they are the best by far
