Waiting in line then pass not scanning

+Vibez, I feel the pain. I had to this happen to me once at Alta FDOH in like 2019. bought an altabird pass on snowbirds website but wasn't told you have to pick it up at the snowbird pass offices instead of just skiing onto the lift with your old pass and got turned around on a pretty sweet pow day for opening day. totally brutal lol
 
This is why I like being further back in line so I don’t get verbally abused by the old race dads who get up at 5am for first chair every day.

It's not abuse if you bait them into embarrassing themselves. Feed on their anger.
 
I bet the people standing by those gates hear that sound when they are trying to fall asleep every night.

Last season at my local the lift got stopped for whatever reason and I was stopped right on the the turnstyle gate so I was making it do the bing-bong over and over because I didn't get enough hugs growing up or something idk but anyways after a bunch of bingbongs it went red and didn't let me go RIGHT as the lift starting turning. I felt like such an asshole, there was so many people behind me lol It was so awkward trynna go around everybody to get out of line.

luckily it reset by the time I got to the bottom and tried it again, but I was nervous as fuck. Moral of the story is don't fuck with the scanner, it will tell you to fuck off.
