what about two y rails set so the tops of the y's were joined. basically a rail that splits into two, then rejoins after.

I thought of like a terrain park that you needed to slide a rail over a fence to get into it so you could keep the shitty lil kids out, hehe

 
Here are some more 3d rails designs.

If im lucky, one day, me and my friend will get a rail welding business up and running. It is very profitable. a rail that costs $200 to make can easily be sold for up to a thousand dollars. Now i just gotta save up for a Mig Welder.

haha..that 'rail tycoon' thing is 3d studio max. It is 3d modeling/rendering software. Right now the price is running at $3,495.00 US.

Im not really skilled enough to make decent looking animations... especially not of a skier hitting a rail. Im learning though!

or u could just get a warez copy, bootleggz ownz cause even if u are student it costs like 600-700 i think, never ever pay for that crap, unless u are selling the 3d models, there is nothing wrong with it, well in my views, or if u want learn how to use blender, at www.blender.nl is free

its kinda gay though cause the c in the rail is really tight and you gotz to lean like a motherfucker to do it.

im thinking a cool rail would be like a trap. but with no middle peice.

i got mine off a friend for free

heres a rail idea... a trapazoid curved rail..the part that is usually flat is curved. .. to you go up...curve..then go down

...how about a loop...like the one Auclair and Anthony B. did last year. Only instead of snow build a box, so you can go 50-50 first, then try to slide it regular...that would be dope!

Yeah 3DS Max. Anyway, that s rail you modeled has been made. There was a post about biggest s rail snd someone had a pic. I think a rollercoaster to rollercoaster gap would be ill. Or a qp shaped rail maybe.

s sick, but crazy hard rail would be a see-saw rail that connects to a flat rail, like the end doesnt go all the way down to the ground it goes to a flat or kinked rail, that would be a sick rail

the sickest rail would be a c rail to gap to opposite c rail. so basically an s rail but w/ a gap midway.
