W Ski getting pulled?

not sure if this is completly true but my friend owns a pretty big ski shop and said that they cant order Wski anymore cause of them being sued for some bullshit like copyright infringement or something like that, anyone else heard anything about this

there was an incident where they had to reedit CRs seg, bc they used a scene from top gun without permission *cough FUCK MSP cough* but thats been edited out so now theyre good to go

i got wski and i honestly can't tell what they would have changed in cr's part. absolutely everything in his segment it immitating top gun. i thought they had to revise it

I dont understand this 'fuck msp' non-sense. If it were something stupid and done just to hurt Wski's sales, then yeah, fuck msp. What I gather from the situation is that MSP called them on the Top Gun footy without permission, Iberg should have known not to do that. The way I see it, MSP saved Iberg's ass on this one. Yeah it sucks it was delayed, but that better than being in debt for the rest of your life for something that you should know as a film maker.

Yeah, they got into come copyright infringement problems, cause Iberg put the volleyball scene from Top Gun in the film. I saw WSKI at the SLC world premier.

In the 'home video' version of it, he edits himself, and some other dude in there to take the place of the Top Gun footage that he had to take out.

i think what happened is someone from msp saw wski at the world premier and complained about the copyright infringement, thus making pbp have to reedit crs seg with scenes from top gun....this is what led to wski being so late in getting to your mailboxes

 
I wasn't too disappointed with Yearbook. But after hearing all this shit about MSP I'm not too stoked on it. But in Yearbook every fucking trick was in slo-mo and Tanner's song sucked balls..not to mention the repeats of like 2-3 other songs in it.

The only credit I gave them was the sickass heli-shot angles on some of the tricks.

My favorite movie this year was definitely Red Tape.
