What is going on with the Vermont Freeskiing Open this year? I was just looking for it on Strattons site and its not on there and Ive heard rumors its not there this year. I was also on the Mount Snow website and there was like some major sounding comp the same time the VTO usually is so is that replacing it or what is up?

As of last week they did have the VTO posted on their site, it was right after the USopen, would have been the last weekend in march. The mt snow comp is not its replacement. This event is part of the freeski tour which also includes stops at Breck and Bear.

according the the 10year anniversary freeskier issue, the mt.snow comp is suppossed to be the weekend before VTO. implying that the VTO is going to still happen.

the comp at mt. snow is suppossed to be 1 of 3 stops in a freeride event, those 3 stops being breck, big bear and mt. snow
