Volvo 850R?

i've been looking at 850Rs (possibly 850s) online to use as a skimobile and I want to get some opinions. they look pretty fun but I was wondering if any NSers had one and what you thought of them. thanks

I had an 850 Turbo and it was an amazing car. The R is going to be lower, stiffer and faster, but throw some winter tires and a rack on, and you're golden.

inb4 someone suggests a Subaru.

I think they are awesome.

They sound so good!

This original cream yellow color is so weird but fits the car great.

I always digged them and the V70R's but the concerning thing is reliability and maintenance costs. I can do most things on my own but if its going to be breaking every 2k miles I won't even bother.

I've heard they're bullet proof. Also, if you put some work into it you could potentially have the coolest sleeper in history.

There arent many problems with the R's im pretty sure and the turbo inline 5 is a good sound. Never came in manual though
