Volkl Wall Delam?

I've ridden on the 07/08 volkl walls only 13 days and the tip on one ski has started to delam. I threw some epoxy in it and clamped it overnight but it came apart again today. Anyone else having similar problems? And should I try to send them back or see if they can last the season?

yea my friends like delamed under his binding and he sent em back and got a new pair rather quckly

one of my tales already has started to delam after 10 days of skiing on them. I went to the shop and they said you have two options, send them now and wait three weeks for new skis all under warentee, or wait to the end of the season to send them and get new skis...so i am waiting. It is not affecting my skills

I have been beating the shit out of mine and they haven't showed a sign of a full out delam. show us some pics.

thats pretty bad. mine just have cosmetic problems, you will def. get a new set if the rest of the ski is in good shape.

If you want the next year's models, you can either duct tape them for the rest of the year, and send them back at the end of the year, or you could call them, and ask them if you can rivot it back together, and send them back later. If you do rivot them, make sure you call them or e-mail them some pics of the delaminated ski before you put the rivots in. If you don't contact them before rivoting them, they might not warranty them.

I had the same problem with my Karmas 2 years ago, but i just decided to ski them with duct tape.

And just to add, if you wanted to warranty them this year, it won't take that long to ship, because the warehouse is in West Lebanon, NH.
