Völkl Step or Völkl Ledge?

So i have been thinking of buying Völkl Step or Völkl Ledge. They seem to be pretty much the same ski, but how do they differ from each other? I would also like to know your opinion about the skis. +K for good answers.

In a review I saw of them, they said that the Steps were stiffer than the ledges. Volkl makes good skis, but I hear a lot of bad things about the topsheets.

Carbon stringers and that's it. Gives the ski more pop and makes it slightly stiffer.

I would go step cause the ledge is a noodle while the step can give you a little bit more support and pop but still be buttery.

yep, the step is only a little bit stiffer/poppier than the ledge oh and i have the ledge :) (havent skid them yet)

here's my review of the step from last season.https://www.newschoolers.com/reviews/2200/Step

I had a good look at the ledge before picking the step as the dimensions and rocker were exactly what i was looking for in a ski but was unsure as to what i was looking for in the flex as i didnt want anything too stiff. the ledge was a total noodle for what i was looking for. my only issue after 2 seasons and a season of 75% rails was that of a bit of delam under-foot which i fixed with some 2 part epoxy. the top sheet chips a bit but with the rebated sidewalls and tips spacer the chips dont go beyond the rebate. the rest is in the review. I'm really happy with them and would def buy them again.

Thanks man! Your review was pretty helpful, and now i'm more confident about buying them!
