Hey, so i might be getting some volkl skis soon, what type would you recommend for someone who skis alot of big mountain and also some park? Thanks! :D

i love volkls, but if you want to do big mtn and park youre going to need two different skis. i have gotamas for bc and i fucking love them, so sick

You might be able to manage with the bridges but like squirrel said you probably want to different skis.

i loved my bridges...your not gonna do a triple backflip with them in the park or plow through the pow but they sure as hell cover everything in between...Other then that though, agreed on the fact that you need different skis for pow and park if your gonna take each one seriously

Thnks! i have armadas for park and rossignol s3s for all mountain right now, im mainly looking for another pair of all mountains. I heard the kikus are good?

My friend rides a pair of Kikus for her powder/big mountain ski. As far as I know, she loves them. Plus this years graphics are beautiful. However, they aren't the fattest thing out there for women's skis.

Are you looking for something fat from Volkl? Check out the Shiro ( http://volkl.com/ski/skiis/models/shiro ). It's Volkl's new playful powder ski that they offer in 173 as well.

the shiro is sicker than aids. love that ski. but a little beefy to be run through the park

but if you want one ski, +1 more for the bridges

Well due to the info on your profile Ill assume that you too live in Calgreasy. I would say the Kiku's would be ideal for you as they are designed for women. If you weigh more than you may wanna go with the gotama, or since you've been on racing skis they would be more similar. The Katana is a bit wider, but SUPER stiff, it has titanium, not carbon fiber, stringers in it, so even for a nearly 200 lb guy like me they were stiff. If you do live in Calgary, go down to ski west, the guys down there have been hooking me up for years and know their shit inside out, Fresh is an ok place, but the staff are more like everyone on here, they dont know much more than you can find on the internet and although I bought skis there once its cause nobody else here carries armada. So Kiku, maybe shiro but they are quite fat for any park or groomer. (and if you all must know I have tested the shiro and katana btw they were both awesome in their own respects)
