Volkl sizing

Just wondering how volkl sizes their skis. Is it about average or do they measure up shorter or longer than what they are advertised as.

They're about what they say they are. They're not like k2, where the skis are actually 3-4 cm bigger

yep i have a pair of walls and their 169 and they were 169 so they speak the truth

alright, sounds good, I'm definitely looking at the walls, how do you like them? Seems that the 185 is either sold out really early or they didn't produce many in that size. Would the 177 work for someone who is 5'9" or 5'10" around 150 to 180lbs? +K for both of you

i didnt read the thread, but im assuming you mean compartieve sizing.
my 177 08 walls, are mabye 2-3cm taller than my friends 09 171 octolands. so either line runs slightly longer, or volkl runs slightly shorter.
but im almost 5'11" and my 177s are perfect for park.

walls are super fun!!!! i've got '08 169s. great for everything in the park. NOT a durable ski, in my experience, though.

i've read that the 08's had durability issues, i think the 09s are a bit tougher, anyone know?

yep get the 09s thats what i have their durable and after the first season theres no major problems other thana little bit of top sheet peeling but its not bad. it seemed alot of people who had the 08 had bad durability but the 09s fixed that.
