Volkl Legends, question

I have been skiing my whole life but this year I have decided to get into freestyle. I have a couple other pair of skis I am going to use for all mountain so i basically want just a park ski. I was looking at the Volkl Legend's but when i was reading through the past comments people were saying they were a bit heavy. I was wondering if anyone out there has them if they could tell me just how heavy they are and if they affect you at all. If anyone has any other suggestions for skis that would be great. Im 6'0 173 pounds.

About 90% of a skis weight is in the bindings you choose. The weight of the ski shouldn't really be an issue (unless you are skiing some super huge Volants or something).

ya their 168s but i dont know what year they are, thats what was wondering about because all the pics show the 2003s as green

last year the 178 was green and the 168 was red, I dont know about any other lenghts, if there were any. But they are a pretty good ski. Dont pay over 325 for them though.

thanks alot. I was wondering though if a 168 will be too short for me, im 6'0 and 173, but im only going to be using the ski in the park so i thought it would be more fun and easier to do tricks with

Get whatever you feel that YOU want. Dont listen to everybody else telling you what to get. Its your money, your decision, your ski, so get whatever you feel like YOU would enjoy more.

That's my size, and I used to ski a 168 in the park, it works good. I wouldn't go any shorter than that ever, but it's ok seeing as you said you have other skis for all mtn. If you wanted an all around ski id say about 180, but for park you're fine.
