This isn't a like-for-like comparison. Chopstick vs. Bentchetler would be most similar.
Chopsticks are rockered and designed to be mounted near centre. Thugs have regular camber and can be mounted either near the centre or further back.
If your approach to riding backcountry is more traditional- i.e. mostly forwards, more aggressive, get thugs. if you're more into switch pow, buttering etc, get chopsticks. Although thugs can do that stuff too.
As with 95% of these threads, try to give a lot more information on what type of skiing you like, how you ski, how big you are etc. You can't expect a good recommendation without that.
