My sister's going to school in Lancaster and my father and I are dropping her off this Wednesday (August 22nd) and taking things a little more slowly on the way back. Anybody have recommendations on things to do or see? I like record stores, quality food, thrift shops, mountain biking, and hiking (aside from skiing, obviously). PM me or post here with suggestions, although this is rather late.

I would stop by philly while you're in range. It's about 45 minutes to an hour of driving out of your way.. but its pretty awesome for what you are trying to find. Manayunk is really where you should be heading

Philly has a pretty awesome indoor rock climbing place called "Go Vertical." The walls are like 50-75 feet so they are pretty massive. It is also right next to Sugar House Casino so you can get your craps, poker, whatever gambling in after.

If you skate: hit up York Skatepark (ried menzer memorial park), Rosyln Skatepark, Ambler Skatepark.

Dorney Park or Hershey Park are fun for a day, go in the mornings before crowds.

If you have never been stop at Cabela's off Rt 78

Spend a day or two in NYC or Philly
