I am trying to come from New york to ski around Innsbruck in February. I have some travel questions for anybody who would be interested:

1. When i fly to Innsbruck, is the airport near the city? we are planning on staying in the city.

2. What ski areas do you recommend I ski? I am assuming that I can take the ski shuttle bus to any of the areas around there.

3. Is it necessary that I have a car, or can i pretty much use public transportation/walk?

4. What kind of pass should I get if I want to ski multiple ski areas? where do I get it?

yes the airport is near innsbruck!!

so you can easilie reach the stubair glacier with bus and stanton with the train about 1 hour!!

stubair glacier normaly an amazing park

and stanton you know the town powpow!!

i think it is not really necessary to get a car!!

you can spend over 500 bucks and go skiing everywhere in tirol!!

or you buy always a ticket it might about 30-40 euros!!
