will it really affect how i ski if i go that big?

it will honestly help you. 183 will be as tall as you and 189 will give you like an extra 2in to ski on. Vs are super light and ski small, if i were u i would get 189

do you think i could use them every weekend on the east coast? i’d say no but i may be wrong

I'm 6ft and I've been riding 183s. just copped 189s. Definitely do not buy 177s because Vishnus tend to ride shorter because of their rise and soft flex

yes, everyone in this thread is telling you go bigger. I promise you will love the 189s once u get used to them. It really would suck if u got 183 then ended up regretting it just a few weeks into the season. i say 189 u will love them

how did the 183s feel? i don’t want to buy a size that im unhappy with. i generally like smaller skis and i ride 176s. would you say the 183 feels to short?

it'll feel the same if not shorter. Lotta rocker here man. Im 6 foot 1 and went 189 without a single doubt. Size up you won't regret it

I wouldn't say they felt short. They felt very light and nimble. super easy to get rotations around. They do have a soft flex though so if you want more stability outside the park then 189s would probably be better.

the 183s feel like snowblades to me dude. Unless you are an intermediate skier who only skis blues, get the 189s. you can handle them

I was thinking of getting 183s I’m 5’11 130 pounds but am going with 189’s I tend to like bigger skis (I loved my 191 mantras and rn am riding 188 revolt 104s) but was thinking 183 would suit me better for park. But I want a ski that can handle higher speeds and vs are really rockered and soft so 183 wouldn’t be good for that especially since they would ride shorter cause of rocker. I honestly wasn’t so sure about the 189 at first but now after hearing other peoples feedback 189 makes more sense

just copped 189 rivers

The rivers look great in person they literally look wet. The cals also look way better in person. And the Vincent’s pretty much look the same
