Vishnus changed my life

Holy fuck, So I bought some Cloud Wets from a fellow NS’er. These motherfuckers are life changing, I feel like I can actually be competent in the park now that I’m not lugging around 120mm underfoot pow skis. The shnu’s are so fucking nice and poppy, the swing weight feels like I have feathers on my feet. And I can actually like fully rotate 90 onto a rail and I can ACTUALLY control myself on rails and stay on them and not just slide until it decides to spit me off. [tag=225826]@VISHNU[/tag] goddamn you make some fuckin good skis. They just feel so smooth on everything and I feel like I am no longer holding myself back in the park

Damn dude wtf. Who do you think you are? Markus Eder?? Lol

Largest width I’ve ever hit rails on was 107 and I could feel the difference. Can’t imagine 120+

You couldn’t get on a rail before because your skis were too heavy?

Not rly just the weight, pow skis with touring rail-bindings (like Salomon guardian, Tyrolia adrenalin) are overall just cumbersome as hell on anything except actual pow

And like, I could get on, but it rly wasn’t smooth, and when it came to like trying to stay on the rail consistently having 120mm underfoot is really hard to work with, you are pretty much at the mercy of the rail at and wherever it wants to spit you off it will

Pretty clouds.

I got some wet + recently from an NSer. Even though I didn't have a life changing experience, I am sure happy to be able to move around with alot less effort compared to my Magnus. My progression was slow the last couple years and since I got the Wet+ my confidence and progress increased again because I can actually do stuff I couldn't do before. Like being able to turn full 90 also and easily jump to switch at a moments notice.

some people really really love skiing stuff like hellbents and even other 120+ skis in park. even if not daily.

my outsiders (112) are ok but damn are they heavy lol, I oughta get a proper park ski soon.

I've been riding my 2013 Opus in the park for the past couple seasons. Super fun.

To be fair, you go from a 120mm ski to a park ski, its gonna feel like this.

Yah....I think OP's biggest revelation was that he was on dumb fucking ski's for the park.

Some dudes I know stole a wet cloud from their old roomate and turned it into a shot ski, first time I saw it and realized what it was I was sad to see such a beautiful ski not being used.

1035036.gif^Me when I open a thread about Vishnus and someone mentions cool topsheets...

I got wet pluses and by far my favorite ski I’ve ever owned just so much fun. Curious to see how normal wets feel in comparison

I rly wanna experience the wides too. How soft are they?

Vishnus are absolutely beautiful rail skis. Pink clouds are the best topsheet ever made, no questions asked whatsoever. With the blue pools as a close second. Hell all of their topsheets are absolutely top tier and truly iconic.

welcome to the v club ? there’s a good chance you’ll never wanna ride anything else in the park

I have forever been converted. My Surfaces probably won’t touch park again for a long time

They’re still super soft compared to most skis I’ve ridden and heard compared to my friends. I’d imagine they feel and ski similar to the normal wet just with a little bit more forgiveness on jumps and fast speeds but I still wanna see for myself

Calling them feathers is such a good way to put it. That’s what they feel like, there’s nothing that compares to light ass skis it’s such a hack. And as soon as you ride a nimble ski it feels so odd to ride something heavy again. It’s crazy how light those skis are and yet they still hold up pretty goddamn well.

Man they are so much fun, I feel like I can rly progress even further as a park skier with the right tools for the job, I learned lip slides today honestly by accident when tryna learn unnat. It was fun as hell. I love my surfaces, but they are definitely not meant for the park, gotta keep pow skis as pow skis

The wides are sick too. Honestly a touch softer and heavier than the wets and that was it. Takes like a day of skiing to get used to and that’s it. No noticeable lingering cons that stick around… just felt weird for me going from an 88 to a 106 for swaps, reverting around, other shit etc

Daaaamn, I gotta get me some of those. Wets, Wides, and Fatass pow boards would be a bangin quiver
