I really want a pair of wets but all I can find is a pair of 177s. I’m 5’9” 150lbs. Should I wait until I can find some 183s or will it not be that noticeable

i’m assuming you want wets to butter and swerve and if that’s true then extra length is very useful and definitely worth waiting

What type of skiing do you do? For me it would be a dedicated park ski.

I ski park but i don’t really do big jumps tricks i do like quick feet tricks on the rails like surface swap big spin out backslide frontslide 5050’s

I measured them at 175.9cm so they come up about 1cm short. I'm 5'9 ish too (174cm) and I skied the 177.

Just for reference, I would probably go 177 again, though I would probably go for the Plus version all other things being equal. I did find myself wanting a little extra stability at times, and I'm 10-15lbs lighter than you. I'd rather go for a stiffer ski than size up, personal preference... which I guess is why they made the plus versions at all. I still really enjoyed the regular Wet though, even if they felt a bit short on occasion, I'd love to try the plus one day. The Wets are one of my favorite skis I've tried regardless.

Perhaps not my most useful comment on here ever because you could go longer, or stiffer or with the regular 177, depending on what you want from the ski. What size/what skis do you usually ride?

Right now I’m on 171 Jeffrey 96s and they feel pretty good but i haven’t tried anything longer
