Someone correct me if I’m wrong but I think Emmett just sold out all his skis for the 22-23 season

It comes down to preference I think..just keep in mind that wets are mad light and skinny, and they have a lot of rise so they might feel shorter than other skis that you're used to. I'd go with 189 personally (I got 189 wets and I'm 6ft 165lbs)

Also considering the fact that a lot of peopl have been asking questions or Vishnu's for a while now, I think it would be a good idea to have one thread about Vishnu's instead of innumerable individual threads

They’re always so entertaining tho lol. We could honestly use a whole ass Vishnu Gabber section at this point

The real question is what size pivot brakes you guys have on your wets? 95 or can you make the 75 stretch

I’m also bouncing between the wet or wet+. How stiff are the wet+ compared to a line Tom Wallisch pro (my skis now)? I still want a much more flexible ski but the jump benefits of the wet+ are nice but i dont want them to take away from the flex im looking for.

it's between the 2. either will work. i think i'd bend out 75s rather than use 95s but not everyone will agree with that and it's kind of a PITA. if you don't want to fuck around with it, just go B95

Wet plus vs wet, the plus is a bit softer than most traditional skis, and the wet is much softer so really just depends on your preference obviously. And for the brake width really doesn’t matter 95’s arnt wide enough to hook onto each other anyways for the wets but preferable use 75’s for the snuggest fit possible

It's not like u can't hit jumps on wets. Wets are incredibly fun on smaller jumps, u just have less stability than a stiffer ski. It depends on how big youre going and how big the jumps are. I'd never recommend wets to someone who's hitting xgames size boogers but they're fine for all the jumps at my resort. If you're flexing out on shmedium jumps then you're probably landing too backseat anyway

Ive never skied TWs so idk, I think you'd have to ask someone who's skied both. They're both soft skis I wouldn't worry about the flex too much. Poachers are way stiffer, for example, and u can still flex them a lot. Here's a video of me doing that lol. I'm sure you'd be fine on either wets or pluses

Thanks for the info. I’m not a huge jump fan i enjoy the jibby and rail features more than sending it on a huge booter. The biggest jumps im planning to hit are 40 or 50 ft. These days i have only hit 40’s a handful of times never with any big tricks too as its not really my thing. If im hitting any jumps regularly it’s usually around 35 (seen in pic below). Would the wet’s still handle that on occasion?
