I wanted to ask you guys is it worth to buy a very chipped up pair of vishnu wets no bindings for 180$? Used 3 years. I wont used it as my daily park ski just a backyard and jib ski when i’m feeling new wave.

Only mounted once. Bases look nice top sheet is pretty chipped. I want wets so bad without the pricey 500$ tag.
 
still too much man. also idk how they got chipped up I've literally been intentionally beating mine up but the topsheet is seemingly indestructible. I would ask for pics of the tips and tails: an extremely common thing on Vs is for the edges on the tips and tails to start coming out, which eventually leads to de-lam. Mine only started doing that after multiple seasons so it's not a crazy defect but it seems to happen to most pairs eventually.

All I know is that anyone who has vishnus for sure rides park a lot, if those are 3 seasons old they must be pretty beat up.

500 is actually a pretty good price for a small company like vishnu. skis are expensive. most other small ski companies charge 700+ for a pair of skis.

Yea they seem beat up and chipped underfoot a good amount. The tip has a little dent. I am asking for more pictures of the tip and tail and the ski in general. Where could i find another wet in better condition for this price? i really want a pair

I wouldn’t worry about chipping as much as edge cracks or delam. If the edges are in solid shape it might be a pretty good deal
 
If it’s just top sheet damage and a few base gouges then 180$ is not a bad price for a pair of used wets. I usually go through a pair of skis every season but my wets survived 2 seasons of shitty East coast weather and neglectful grass/concrete/rock skiing. I sold them to a homie, who used them for a while before he sold them to a different owner. The boomers on here can shit on Vishnu all they want, fact is that their skis are built to last.

If the edges don’t have any cracks send it, or wait until june-ish when I sell the team leftovers on the insta story for the super low. Either way thanks for the interest I bet you will like em
 
Fuckin cop those bitches if they ain got no edge cracks. And also psa to the tHeY aRe 500 dOlLaRs people... literally if you pre order in the summer they are $420. 500 is a fair price but 420 is a fucking steal for skis that durable and that fun.

Also if you keep your eyes peeled they often sell like 5 leftover pairs for lower than 400 once all the skis go outta stock. I’ve seen them posted on their IG story for 350 brand new.
