i currently am on the ar7 and am looking for a softer more rockered playful ski. i known the filthy rich has been a NS favorited ski for a while now. where as vishnu is a pretty new company. has anybody skied on the wets? what ski do i want?

as much as i'm all for supporting new companies, vishnu has a no return policy....(i.e. you can't get your money back even if you didn't mount them? or if they come with a defect? the second parts not so clear but idk, i'd ask them for clarification first)

Yeah that'd be a deal breaker for me.

But really OP if you want a tried and trusted park ski then go for the ON3P.

If you want to take a risk and try something new then go for the Vishnu, they may be amazing or they may fall apart on the first day.

it would be hard to stand behind a company that won't stand behind their own product

on the other hand OP, it's not really clear how flexy of a ski you're looking for. I ride FR's, and they're not stiff but I woudn't call them soft either. Most of the butter ability comes from the rocker, not from actual flex in the ski.

If you're going from AR7s but dont know where to go, try the skis you want to buy, or if you can't try some of your friends' skis and see how flexy you like em, and then make a call based on reviews on the skis you're looking at. You might end up prefering something like the al dente with soft flex rather than the on3p

Let me be the first to say, we absolutely stand behind our product. The lack of warranty is due to our small inventory this season (14/15) since we were just starting out. We are currently hammering out our new warranty policy before we ship our pre-orders for 15/16. It will be on the site in detail soon. Expect it to be similar to most ski warranties.

As for the ski choice, the Wet is pretty much the softest and most playful ski money can buy at this point. That being said, it has a lot of "beef" to it underfoot, meaning that although the tips and tails are extremely buttery, you can take it deep on jumps/off of big features and not have to worry about washing out if you land properly. The Filthy Rich is an outstanding ski as well, I used to have them myself before we started this company. Basically what I'm saying is, you won't go wrong with either choice. I hope you find the ski that works best for you for optimal shred. Thanks for the interest!

Anyone else got time on the Vishnus yet? I'm deciding between the wet, fr, and da nollie.

Just bought some Da Nollies the other day, rode a friends and they were sick. I'm coming off a pair of stiff volkls similar to your armadas. Anyway, you could really buy any of these options. The FR isn't as soft as the other 2, but the big rocker gives it more playfulness.

^^ I skied the Danollies and they were so much fun.

I am all for supporting the Vishnu guys. The wet would be my choice, tho I have not skied them yet so I can't tell you much about how they ride.

Respect fersure

I have never ridden on Vishnus. But I can say with confidence that ON3P's durability is out of sight and the filthy rich is just a blast to be on. It took me a while to get used to them at first, since I had never skied a park ski with so much rocker, but once I did I don't think I will ever go back. They are playful, they have super thick edges, and they react crazy well. Props to Vishnu answering questions to peeps on NS.

Bumping up this thread since I'm considering getting the wets cause Vishnu is have a $300 skis sale. Has anyone ridden on them this season and can give me some feedback?

The on3p filthy rich is by far my favorite ski I've had. I'm sad they broke and I'm on the da nollies right now.. (Great ski but 180cm is a tad to short for my liking)

It's been a while since we've skied the AR7, but our guess is that the Filthy will be a hair stiffer flex wise.

Worth noting that we've got the 161 in stock and another round making their way through the presses now.
