Vishnu durability

Copped a pair of wets and waiting for them to arrive. From what I’ve heard they are crazy durable especially for the price.

Get them they are sick! Plus you will be supporting a small ski brand that does alot for the "freestyle" skiing comunity.

In one of the roofbox reviews they said that the little amount of camber that they had had been worn out in 10 days of skiing, and they became 50cm of rocker in both tip and tail. But the rest of the ski had pretty much no damage, and it was still skiable.

Vishnu’s are practically shoes since you can walk around with them on.

very durable. topsheet is damn near invincible and the bases and edges have held up great so far. love my wets.

My first pair of wets lasted me roughly 50 days of hitting rails before cracking an edge. Skied them another 20 after that and I'm only getting new ones because I have the money and those cabbage top sheets give me a boner. Most skis last me 25 days tops before an edge breaks. I also think the flexibility makes it way harder to snap them.

They are def up there on the durability scale. Solid bases. Indestructible topsheets. If you epoxy edge cracks or any kind of damage they will ride for a long long time.

Also I’ve never seen or even heard of a snapped pair. If anyone has lmk, I’d be interested to see it.

I would definitely cop them, solid price and IMO the funnest park ski you can buy. I honestly don’t think I would have as much fun skiing if v’s didn’t exist. Those planks will have a place in my heart til the day I die!

They are very fun skis, and so far my wides from last year are in very good shape, no edge cracks and minimal top sheet damage. I’m guessing I have 15 days on them because I got them last February and things shut down in march. Someone mentioned wets losing their camber, but I have the wides and haven’t experienced this yet, so maybe that’s more of an issue with the wets

Got a pair of wides last year. 1 tip delammed in the front where the edge wrap meets, but I epoxied it and it's been fine since.

Skied 2 days before edge blew out. I dont even go hard, same thing happened to my friends wide but not as bad. I emailed vishnu and heard nothing

[tag=262170]@Shupeste[/tag] Looks like you caught the end of a rail. I doubt any company would cover a blatant impact like that.

Also your other 2 threads are asking to buy a single Kartel 96 because you broke the other. Obviously you are going hard if you are breaking ON3Ps.

Have you tried contacting via Instagram? I haven't gotten any emails regarding this issue, I would have answered immediately if I had. Please DM on insta and we will get it sorted out.

Underfoot edge damage after short term use is pretty unusual so this may be a defective ski, in which case I would be happy to replace it.

I’ve noticed when edge does pull out of my wides it’s in very small chunks, their edges hold on real well

Bought mine the same day they got on the site before the pre orders shipped and took two weeks. Should be way shorter now because my friend got some wides a week ago and they shipped in less than a week I think.
