so i was going over 60+ mph on a highway and my dumbass forget to close the ski rack and i hear something ridiculously loud and i’m like shit pull over, open the door and run like it’s for my life (might’ve been crying and praying) and i see them

in the road so i put on my phone flashlight so they don’t get hit and retrieve them after further review the only damage was my look pivots bindings were twisted around. now call me a bandwagon but these skis can take pavement at 60 mph. just saying ??‍

Just buy a box instead! Have to close/lock it to take the keys out. Plus, no one can see what you’ve got so you’re less likely to get them jacked.

Ran mine over with the car. Same shit, just bent the brakes on my pivots ?

I don’t think 60+ mph with no weight on them is a true testimony to ski durability. I have heard Vishnu skis are mad durable but this just proves your lack of attention haha. I put mine right in the car unless I’m mobbing with a bunch of people in my car. I know I’d fuck up if i always used the rack. Plus I’ve noticed my skis get mad dirty if I have them on the rack in the open. Makes me wish I got a box.

Side note i saw a chick with a glossy pink box. It was cool to see it painted and make me wonder why more aren’t?!
