I mean both got their pros and cons but for me I vibe better with bag o tricks, the stomp it guy makes me feel like insecure cuz he is def more aerial focused where I tend to stick to rails

also BoT vids can be watched in a single lift ride when im tryna hype myself up for something

who is ur go to and why

the stomp it guy explains everything so technically and he might be air focused but he’s still pretty good on rails, and BoT doesn’t go into the depth and technical aspects of tricks like stomp it guy

i havent watched either in a pretty long time but I remember stomp it going way more in depth but id prefer to watch a bot video

Ok yea stomp it is way better at going in depth, but 70% of the time I just need quick tips to hype me up on the lift so that’s the basis of my opinion

Stomp it, mans learned how to dub 10 and made it a how to video where he accidentally dub 12ed which is very very scary.

Stomp it tutorials for sure. Detailed instructions is what my brain needs in order understand anything. The over-explaining may annoy some people and that’s why I think this whole stomp it vs bag o tricks thing is pointless.

The alpha learning hucking your shit and learning it yourself

Learning based on trial and error? Natural talent? No, I need influencers and YouTube to baby me through my first airbag 360

Understandable but I don’t think there’s a single valid point BoT makes in any video, and a single valid point that would help you out. I think you’re In a much better situation if you either teach yourself or watch others and then teach yourself.

stomp it because bag o tricks still have relatively bad ski form in general (skiing backseat like 90% of the time) so i only take what they say with a grain of salt

Nevermind, homie is cringe, stomp it and ski addiction are the vibe

Nah, NS has shit one me from day 1 so this is nothing new. At this point it's just entertainment for me to see what people come up with on here. [tag=244295]@weatcoast[/tag] been on that hate train from day one, I respect the dedication!

Based

? BOT ? - gets down in the streets, does really cool rail tricks, has mega style, from east coast, is core af, has sick merch, wears saga, has wets, relatable content, on NS, doesn’t know what based even means.

?? Stomp It ?‍♂️ - doesn’t ski street, rides atomics (?), skis in Europe (least core location), has no style, goofy accent, not relatable, learned all his tricks on a water ramp/airbag (spoiled), probably a comp kid, not from east coast, probably hasn’t even seen zootspace, not core, has a silly name , does gymnastics, doesn’t use NS, doesn’t own any Vishnus.

BoT is a dope dude. But I probably watch his videos the least. Ski addiction is good for really specific stuff, but they don't go as in depth. For example, Jens talks about the tricks for a longer period of time, so you learn more of the thought process behind the tricks, not just the mechanics. Stomp it is the best. Jens is an incredible skier overall and also very good at freestyle skiing. Dude is an oldhead in the best way possible.

top tier hater but I still have a level of respect for what you’re doing (this is my other personality speaking here)

You’re probably getting kids to go park skiing / exposing them to / showing them the right info , so I guess I can’t hate on you too much haha. Keep doin ur thing, I just love to be moody as fuck and opinionated.

Hahahaha no worries dawg, I appreciate the criticisms tbh, gives me the juice I need to actually improve.

On a serious note, I'm just tryna get kids into the park, hopefully teach them something, but more importantly try to show them how fun this sport can be. I've never claimed to be a pro teacher/coach cause I know I'm far from it. What Jens does with Stomp It is wayyy more professional than what I could ever hope to put out. He's built a career being a ski coach and rightfully so, he's a phenomenal teacher that explains things very well.

I struggle forming my thoughts around tricks into words a lot of the time since I've always been a visual learner. Been trying to improve on that side of things with my more recent trick tips, so hopefull they've become more helpful/keep getting better into the future. Tutorials aren't really my favorite thing to make but enough people have thanked me for a video in the past to keep me going on em.

At the end of the day I'm an OG NSer that loves the sport more than anything and just happened to get lucky on YouTube. YouTube will always just be a hobby and if it wasn't for seeing the positive impacts of my channel up close and personal, I wouldn't even be making videos.

They're completely different kinds of skiers and content creators? Jens is a professional instructor, and BOT is just a cool skier man, yknow

I do prefer BOT's content as I feel like he makes good content for complete greenhorns like me. It's also always cool to see athletes who do multiple sports and disciplines

BoT is an inline brother so I simply cannot throw shade

BOT is entertaining and seems like a good dude with good intentions but he’s mid af compared to Stomp it on a pure skill level. No disrespect to BOT, bros still a good skier and makes great videos with solid explanations.
