New Schoolers of the world, i have a soild pair of twins, when salomon made bullet proof cap skis, before foam core crap. I need the money, they are really used, but i am willing to sell them at 200$, maybe more maybe less, make me offers. They come with bindings, Axium 80s, but they are bearly used, my old looks broke, and can get a pic on request. WiLLING TO SELL CHEEP

The size is 169, mounting point is where the factory ask, they only came in one size since they are promodel

salomon has allways been foam the have done hybrid but they were allways foam steeze.

yeah, salomon never made a wood 1080. maybe specifically for the pros, but not for the public. besides, a wood core might cost them a little, therefore keeping them from raping your ass as much as they do with every other pair of foam 1080s. if your talkin about the white ones, those are DEF foam. they are pretty hard to break cause they are so soft though.

really my old 10's where wood....i had a big gash in it and you could totaly see the wood.

 
yeah, that was the fiberglass. it someimes looks yellow, and it does look like theres wood uder, but it the epoxy.

you are trying to sell them for 200 after being used for 2 seasons? i would put um at like 75 if you want to sell them. maybe not even that much

I ride 177 JF Cusson 1080's (they are black) the same year as your 169 Vinny Dorion 1080's (which are white)

Foam. But there are pretty solid Cap construction, i still ride mine hard. They have taken quite a beating and are still ready to go.

this are one of the foamiest skis that are possible. but i dont hate the foam stuff like many of you do. i skied the 02/03 1080 fizz and they were fine, even at the end of the season.

I would give you 20 bucks, to overbet the guy over me.

i can vouch for matman10 ive seen vinnys with the caps ripped off and there is wood and ive seen a pair broken in half and they are wood
