Vimeo stuttering when embedded

Hey is anyone else having this issue?

When I view a vimeo clip within a page on NS, even after letting it load (and HD or not) it will stutter every second or so but it's fine when i view the video from vimeo directly

Even on something as small as the heath crash clip halfway down the page e.g.

https://www.newschoolers.com/web/forums/readthread/thread_id/503980/page/4/

Just my lame ass computer or does anyone else get this - and it has only started happening recently

i dunno. that video doesn't skip for me. the thing ive been noticing recently is in Mozilla (most recent version) NS is always loading the page when there shouldn't be anything else to load. it does it every 20-30 seconds. When i have NS and facebook open NS always makes me think i got a message from someone cause the little loading circle pops up and says "loading". NS never used to do this but now it does. related issue?

Ok just tried it in IE6 and it was fine, no stuttering

So the issue may lie with Firefox on my PC

and it's not just happening with vimeo, also NS video too.

yup it does the same for me too. only in threads for some reason though. if its in the video section it works fine. also the ns player always does that for me now too

I have an older machine, but vimeos streaming just sucks for me in general. I'm not sure if it's the vimeo server, the flash player or what, but vimeo has mever run well for me. I wish people would use NS videos or YouTube instead.

i have never had a vimeo video play well for me on this computer.and i either use the latest version of firefox or safari

happens to me w/ vimeo embeds in the video section or forums, but when i go straight to vimeo it streams fine in non-HD. HD never works on my comp though, even if i download it straight to my computer then play it w/ quicktime or something, always skips.

NS vids always skip unless i let them download all the way, the download is fast, i just have to wait for it to finish usaually. they didn't use to do that though.

i havent had too many problems is just sucks when i put it in fullscreen the audio plays but the video just pauses right there
