I snowboarded for 6 years untill I realized that I really didn't like it. I didn't like the style, I didn't like the lack of creativity being locked into one board. I definitely don't like the fact that they are limited on terrain (and unless your a pro don't fucking argue with this... I've never seen any snowboarder shred as hard or fast as any of my skier crews). I didn't like the sub culture and attitude that most of the snowboarders had and the fact that it was a bandwagon sport far too long. I like skiing, I enjoy watching ski movies and I plan to ski so I thought the filming was good I just would have rather seen skiers how fucking hard is that to understand.
 
it took you 6 years to realize you didnt like snowboarding? what did you think it was all cool and shit and then you found NS and kids said snowboarding was gay? god your fucking retarded.creativity? you obviously have no idea what your talking about. everything that is creative in skiing (except for hippy killers/one footers) came from snowboarding.god damn the rest of your post isnt even worth my time- you are that stupid.

If you looked at my profile you would realize I didn't even join NS till about a year ago. Secondly I have skied since I was 3 and have always done that. I did snowboarding because my friends did it and I didnt feel like I fit in back in junior high. A few years later when I could afford skis I went back to skiing. Third, snowboarding evolved from skiing, its a sub culture and got really big as a band wagon sport that everyone and there mom could do on the weekend.
I'm sick of all you fucking haters who hate just because they want some one to yell at. I see no problem with me not liking snowboarding. If you like it so much why aren't you doing it yourself?
 
I'm sorry, this doesn't make sense at all. Most snowboarding (amateur and pro) videos are 100 times more creative than skiing. You point is invalid.

Now, your opinion is fine, i just think you're crazy.

start by not filming kids doing the exact same jump with the same tricks, being a filmer you have a direct impact on the way edits are created
 
Videograss is the shit! Last years video was the most enjoyable video I purchased and the trailer looks like Bon Voyage will be just as good. Everyone needs to shut up and stop arguing over whether skiing or snowboarding is better. Just go watch Videograss and I guarantee you'll be thinking up new shit to do on your skis for next season. Plus you'll laugh your ass off because they're actually funny!
