i never said that he and his crew were not stupid. I was saying that we can learn a lesson about how dangerous big mountains can be. And i wasent aware that how you arrived at skiing changed what it was. To me you can hike, snowmobile, ride a cat ,or fly to backcountry. Backcountry can be tame mountains or huge ones like in this video. My main point was that this video does not celebrate the feat or motivate people to try an beat the record. It shows it as what it really was. Poor planning and preparation leading to a huge mistake. Only and insane amount of luck kept him alive and uninjured.
