ok i need to settle this straight, i really like the fact that we all are sending ideas/comments to game comapanies, hoping to influence them to make a skiing game. i hate to say it but the general population would rather play a snowboarding game, its just that. and they say oh well have just 1 character thats a skier, but then all of the calibrations would need to change like rails, spins, and everything which would cost a shit load of money for the research and all. im sorry its just not gonna happen , unless someone in the ski industry does it themselves, oh and dont bitch unless u have a reason i respect skiing and all i just dont think it will happen, and no 20,000 NS members will nto buy it cause 3/4 of em dont even come on the site, like 400 real members, so sry if u hate me but im speaking my mind

The theory is that drinking beer makes men turn into women. To test the theory, 100 men were fed 6 pints of beer each within a one hour period. It was then observed that 100% of the men gained weight, talked excessively without making sense, became overly emotional, couldn't drive, failed to think rationally, argued over nothing, and refused to apologize when wrong. No further testing is planned.
 
settle down. If you didn't know there is a ski game called mad-trix, but it isn't great.

i own it, like i said moseley's in the ski industry so thats the exception, and i think more will be created like dna spin for comp., but nothing can compare to an activision style game

Think about it if there isnt even a big enough market to put skiers on shows like 54321, evolution, and blue torch then is there a market for something like a video game which takes alot more people to make succesful. I know skiers are slowly getting on those 'extreme' sports shows, but until we are on there on a regular basis there wont be any skiing games. Give it 5 years and i bet we will see a game like amped itll just be for playstation 3

you can get style into games. In amped 2 there is. IF you rotate slowly, like halfway betwen pushing the joystick and not then you get style points, same for tweaking stuff halfway, and also landing u get bonus' if its good

oh it will be here soon... if you havent noticed ps2 graphics are exceptionally better than when it first came out. this is due to the fact that ps2 programmers did not know the format very well at first. the ps2 programmers now understand the language to the fullest and are maximizing ps2 capabilities. GT3 has some of the sweetest graphics i have ever seen in the gaming world. everyone thought xbox would kill ps2 because programmers did not know the code at first but ps2 surpasses xbox any day now. ps2 programmers are just too good. xbox on the other hand was easy to develop games because it is based on computer format which makes easy programming.

But i really don't think a bunch of little nerds on some website will help, honestly, the programmers don't care if we send them thousands of requests of here, it will only happen outside skiing, if people relate to it, fo rexample, i don't skate, never really have, but when Tony Hawks came out, everyone started to no more about skating.. but as someone up there said^^ about Freeskiing bieng on TV shows more regularly, that right..
