Video Electronics - Video Camera Repair / Cleaning heads

I bought a camera off here, and when I got it, it was in need of repairs. I was getting error messages that said I needed to clean the heads, so I sent it off to Video Electronics in Massachusetts. Kerry, one of their techs, was the guy who fixed my camera and I think he did a hell of a job. The problem wasnt the heads needed cleaned, but the TG1 arm needed fixed. I also got a few other things done, ( eye piece replced, mic tightened, etc. ) The casing of the camera was also cracked, but Kerry took the casing off a camera he was going to repair and sell, and he gave the casing to me for free. He also gave me the eye piece off the camera for a small fee.

I think they did a pretty good job and Ive never seen a thread like this on NS so I figured I would write this for others with similar problems

Yo man I'm glad everything worked out for you! Good stuff - this should be a good reference for anyone needing work done on their stuff. Maybe write a review?

And btdubs, how much did it costcha?
 
Have some more trouble, damaged heads.. joy. Sent it back in and Ill give another update sometime soon..
 
The drum on the camera also needed replaced, Kerry once again saved my ass and took it out of the camera he was planning on selling. He also did it for a total of $20 (shipping) and said it would be here by the weekend, so Ill play with it and give another update.

Seriously if you need any camera work done, they are they place to go..
