So I have a mac book pro and have been using imovie for all my edits and im kinda sick of it, so if anyone has any suggestions on new software id be stoked.
Id say im at like a medium level of editing skillswilling to spend 100-about 600$ on it.k+ for help

the latest version of Adobe Premier is the tits man...a little hard because the UI (user interface) is a tiny bit tedious to get used to at first but it produced quality shit! torrent it

Sony vegas 10 or Final Cut and After effects.

just get Final Cut Express to save money / torrent if available and know the risks of getting caught or go all out and get Final Cut Pro (more expensive and like Express, there are torrents out there, just be careful, ip hider and such to be extra safe if you want), and then try to torrent Adobe AE CS5 if possible...that is what I was just recommended to do on my macbook.

Final cut express...it's great for beginners and learning but u can also do some pretty cool stuff and make it look good

I'd suggest just getting final cut express... Its the next step up from imovie and will allow you to do a ton of stuff. I use Final cut express and I really like it. There are tons of tutorials online too on how to do just about anything you can think of too. If you end up getting it, fire me a pm and I'll send you links to some tutorials that have helped me.
