Video Editing Help

Hey guys, I just switched from PC to Apple, but I am having trouble figuring out Final Cut on it. I have done editing with other programs, but Final Cut is obviously better (and trickier) to use. Is there any tips you might have for getting started with this, or do I actually have to read the instructions for the first time in my life? Thanks.

final cut for dummies lol (real book though) best bet probably is too real the instructions it will help out
