Video conversion taking forever and failing uploads.

It's been awhile since I have uploaded a video. I tried last night to load a 9 second MPEG2. It failed. I converted it to a WMV. Loaded it earlier today and the conversion has been pending for over an hour. It never took that long before. Is everyone just loading videos today or is this what I should be expecting now?

hmm, i have some trouble in the past like this bit i just quit the internet and retryed and it seemed to work

ya i've tried uploading an edit and it took soooo long!... and failed.. i tried a coulple of times... still failed. i gave up.

they need a real loading bar. you cant see how long its gonna take. that's annoying aswell.

Mpeg-2 format fails every time. The only way I can get them to load is to convert them to WMV's. It sucks.
