I'm looking for a video camera that can shoot HD and can have wide angled lenses on it without spending a fucking shitload. Any suggestions?

You don't want a hard drive based camera, just trust me on that one....

But if you really have you heart set on something like that I think the JVC Everio GZ series is something you should look into. But don't quote me on that, I don't know much about them.

yea, dont get hard drive. i would suggest getting the canon hsf100, its about 1000$. Pm Paper_Route

Dude you can slap a lens on any camera.....if it has threads or a bayo atleast.

Trust me once again on this one, a wide angle/fisheye will get played out if every shot in an edit is like that.

Panasonic makes a camera for about 1300 that has a 32gb flash drive and shoots AVCHD check it out.

in my opinion it has all the usefull stuff u need + records on a 32 gb flash memory...

+ u can put a sd card into it!
