Video Ads are Back YAY

looks like I'll be watching a lot less videos again this year...

Watch a 1 trick video. 30 second commercial. 5 second trick. Woah! That was sick! I wanna see that again! Click play again. Same 30 second advertisment to see a video I just watched.

Dear everyone. Start using vimeo. EVERYONE
 
Yeah, fuck the site that provides so much relevant info and a great community for skiing. Fuck them for trying to make a living off of it.

Son, if you don't want to support this site, then get the hell off of it. You aren't that important and neither is your time that you can't bear to watch a 30 second video.

Seriously though, the ads are supposed to be frequency capped. I'm pretty sure they only play on videos longer than :30, and they only play 1 or 2 every 10 minutes.

If this isn't the case let us know, and we'll adjust it.

Yes we need ads to survive, but no we don't want ads all the time.

Vimeo will have ads eventually too. They have to. Just like Youtube. Free stuff is ad supported, if you don't want ads, you gotta pay eventually.

 
i just watched like 4 different videos, ads on all of them. i think.

ads are time trips too, i cant keep track of how many i watch/dont watch. its subliminal man, gets all in your head and junk
 
If this is the case for everyone else then it isn't bad. I go on every day on school and get ads on every video I watch since vimeo and youtube are all blocked. Maybe its just messed up because theres like 10 computers per IP address. The frequency cap actually does work on my home computer.
 
i watched liek 5 vids last night and 4 this morning and i got an add on every one of them... not liking this. can they atleast be 15 second ones not 30 seconds
 
Haven't had a problem with the ads, the cap seems to be working for me. Seriously though I don't mind watching an ad every so often to keep my favorite site alive.
