Video Ad load times

I bet it may have been brought up before but...

The pre roll ad on videos needs to be set to stream at whatever quality your bandwidth can allow. It pretty consistent that the Ad's are forced to load to play at its highest quality. Sometimes taking more time to get through than the clip you click to watch itself.

There either need to be a capability added to change the quality setting of the advertisements or an automatically updating one that monitors the users bandwidth.

Anyone else experiencing this?

Yes this is very annoying sometimes. I swear I can load videos 720p easily but the ads always tweak out on me or takes literaly like 3 minutes to buffer.

SUCK IT MSKI

but for real, whats your OS and browser? Video example so we can test it?

Yeah, not sure if it's a video quality thing though or an ad thing since it seems to happen on any wifi. I'm on a newish MBP with the newest Safari and I barely ever can watch right through an ad, instead they buffer and stop a bunch. I have to pause and play the ad a bunch of times to get through it. Didn't really mind but I saw the thread so...

This happens to me all the time as well, on all videos: Im on a new rMBP with the latest safari as well. The videos themselves buffer really quickly, its just the ads are slow as hell, its actually stopping me from watching videos as much recently.
