To sum it all up, the white house and Obama had never made any statements about whether they supported SOPA or not, and he's saying he doesn't support the current bill they're trying to pass but its likely in the foreseeable future that another one of these, just slightly altered, will come down the road in a couple years.

Obama also said he was going to shut down Gitmo- then signs the NDAA act which legalizes the military to detain and kill American without trial.
Obama said he would end American intervention in the Middle East - then begins attacking Libya.
Obama said he was against arresting medical marijuana patients/caregivers ---- allows federal raids all over California.

Obama saying he opposes SOPA means nothing
