Vice Freeskiing Documentary

Thanks you both earned your karma though hey zeus I already had you 10/10.

About the clip though vice usually doesn't a decent job with there documentaries so I'll be looking out for the full length.
 
glad to see most of that footage is from contests and legit groups like stept, not some dickbags like WME or something
 
and I'm pretty jazzed about vice doing this. hopefully it'll give a lot of people insight as to what we actually do rather than how retarded the olympic media is going to make us look.

My review: Great documentary and very entertaining to watch. Found it hilarious how big of a dick Tanner was portrayed in it lol
 
I always get bummed out when I find out when I compare who Tanner used to be to who he is now. Or at least who I thought he was before.

And it is cool to actually get to hear the skiers talk as opposed to just watching them ski.
 
I like what he is doing right now, and he is doing it for the right reasons, but I wish he wouldn't talk down on people competing so much. That being said, Devan Logan shouldn't talk down so much on Tanner. He is a better skier than she will ever be.
 
haha wow fuck Logan.. she can barley get out of the fucking pipe and is shit talking a guy who could still out ski her with a broken leg.

It was a good watch for people who follow the sport however I'm not happy how it portrays us to individuals who have no idea what free skiing. They failed to mention Sarah Burke more then once during a documentary all about slope/pipe getting into the olympics. Overall alot of it felt too serious and over dramatic. Tom hit all the right notes though, I'm happy with his part.
 
This video highlighted such a small part of our sport, completely ignoring the culture behind it, and made it look stupid. Unimpressed
 
Anyone else find it weird when that pedo creep coach mom broke down and started crying when she found out people could die from skiing? It shouldn't have been a surprise, lady.
 
She called him a burnout who cant compete anymore if I remember correctly

Im not sexist; so I hold her to the same level as t-hall in competitions
 
after watching that, i strongly dislike logan and will be actively rooting against her. it sucks cuz her brother is an amazing skier and has a great attitude. i really didnt like her thoughts on tanner.

didnt like how they mentioned numerous times that skiing is worth dieing for. i highly doubt any of their loved ones would agree.

i get what they were trying to do, by introducing freeskiing to a larger group but damn, you coulda chosen a few more charismatic people than devin logan. comes off as an enormous bitch and definitely not someone i want representing the US at the olympics.
