Viaduct Big Air?

I heard this rumour that there will be a big air comp in Auckland at the Viaduct into the water. That would be pretty insane, but i dont know how much of it is true. Anyone know anything??

What? landing in the water? other than contracting herpes, hepatitis and giardia all it would promote would be dickheads trying to huck 12's and 14's not style. Although on the other hand would be quite fun for promotion of skiing and in the middle of town..

 
i know it will be kinda homo as a comp, but it would be sick to practice new tricks etc.

i saw it on the news on friday night. it looked gay as. this guy james langford was all they showed and he just did like front flips and backflips that was it. nothing special. oh and a five. did anybody go and watch? who was skiing? was there anything better than a front flip?

It was just on 3 news now (saturday) and they showed some clips, all pretty hucked stuff. They said it was practise 2day and the comps on 2morro. Ne1 actualy gonna do it ?

I was there, brad prosser and tom dubar are probably the biggest names, its pretty fun, not big enough tho... it gonna be bigger tomomoro.. I pulled a bio 7 and a rodeo 7.. but just too hucked

These are the results from the big air..

1. Tom Dunbar threw down some sick switch cork 5s and took home 1000 bucks cash

2. Mark von Roy (me) threw rodeo 7, bio 7 and flatspin 5 thingy... took home a new ericson phone

3. Brad Prosser consistantly throwing bio 7s, and doin a switch cork 5. Walked home with a new PS2....

Was pretty mean comp, a whole lot of free stuff, it was mean that it was at the sports expo cause I got to have free massages everyday, I ate sooo many free protien bars, free bagles, free banana milkshakes... We also got free beer and free subway.. To top it all off I got a free spray on tan (oh yeah!!) and I watched girls wrestling. (mean!!!)..

Thats pretty much it.. Season's pretty much over
