They are handmade in Salt Lake City by a close friend, Nathan Larson. Velo City Bags manufactures custom messenger bags and backpacks. You can pick from a wide variety of colors (http://http://velocitybags.com/download/swatches), allowing for endless color combos. You can also choose from a large assortment of add-ons, these range from small exterior organizers to compression straps. Moreover, Velo City bags are water proof! Well, as water proof as a backpack/messenger bag can get.
One example of this customization is my trusty XXL Velo City messenger bag (see crappy photo booth picture below). It has a celery main body, grey bottom, celery sides, white vinyl, grey trim, purple front pocket, grey pocket flap, and black velcro; add-ons consist of a small exterior organizer and x-shoulder strap.
