Vegas Pro 11.0 Question????????????????????

Oky.

So.

I just started uploading some videos for work to make a lil' edit for the GFA program, and I ran into a problem.

When i click and drag the video to the left hand side viewing "preview box" in vegas pro 11, the quality is really really good. Which I want.

But, when I put the same video clip into the timeline bar, the quality is far less clear.

Im not sure if you can see it in the picture, but i posted it anyway. The left handed preview screen is better quality that the right handed side (actual video in time line drop box)

Anyone know why?

Anyone understand what im saying?

Cool.

Thanks.

There should be a little drop down box in the top right where you can select the quality of the playback. Higher res = more processing power required to play back the video smoothly.

Also once you render it you should have full quality. When editing having the lowest res in preview is the only way my computer can handle it.
