Its really easy to get alcohol poisoning with that. If you drink(inhale?) too much, theres nothing you can do to stop the alcohol poisoning from progressing. No stomach pumping here
 
im pretty sure this thing is in an episode of parks and rec.. also how the fuck does it work and does it actually get you drunk?
 
we did this in college with an empty 2 liter, a cork, bike pump and whiskey

sooo weird, but you can definitely feel it

The alcohol, which has a relatively low evaporation point, moves to the gas phase. This creates an increased concentration of alcohol fumes chylling in the bulb. The user huffs those fumes.

I'm assuming the alcohol enters your bloodstream the same way nicotine or THC do when you smoke. You could probably make your own version of this by placing a glass over a candle that same way, but put some sort of cover over most of the glass so the booze vapour doesn't escape. Its a really, really basic contraption.
 
I feel like this can be dangerous. Perhaps it's just because I know that alcohol as a vapor can be extremely combustible.


(I know consumable alcohol has a lower percent, but I feel like it can still be dangerous.)
 
I'm sorry to say but it sucks. You're going to try it with all your friends once and then never use it again... overpriced and a waste of money.

Spraying flaming spirytus rektyfikowany out my mouth in parties full of people is dangerous too... but that aint stoping me.

(p.s. This is literally the best party trick in the world. High recommend it. People love it and fear it.)

Nothing wrong with that.

About what I posted earlier. I was more directing towards like if that glass ball falls and shatters the right way, I could see it turn into a grenade of glass shrapnel.

I may have seen one too many final destination movies though.

It's not pressurized how could that happen?
 
This thing is pretty cool, gives me a good buzz. It did go away in about an hour (however I only took about 3 hits) I wouldn't say it replaces taking shots. But it's definitely a good way to start a pre game. The vapor also tastes exactly like the alcohol which is neat.

it's like a shaker, it's very nice to have if you have, and it will enhance your drinking experience. but you don't need it but if you have $70ish throw around I'd get it.

So I'm sure you are the same when it comes to shots being much easier to drink when already a little drunk.. I'm thinking this could be a cool way to get a little buzz going for pregame to rip shots, like a pre-pregame. The bread before the appetizer ya know? any thoughts on it? updates?

hahah its $70??? its a glass ball with hole in it, a pint glass and a tea candle. you could get the glass ball at a craft store (think christmas decorations), and i bet you already have a glass and a tea candle.

other than that, you need a straw, and some spacers for the mouth of the cup to let heat move around the globe. nothing is pressurized, nothing is automated, nothing is even graduated. the "equipment" here is so plain, its literally worth next to nothing.

nailed it, puts me in the mood to rip shots and the girls on Halloween loved it. The buzz does wear off pretty fast on the vaper, but I have a breathalyzer and I blew a 0.06 after 20 mins of vaping.
