Vans authentic lo pro

So I was planning on picking up a pair of regular authentics for summer but they sold out in like 24 hours :(

I was gonna get these.

I really don't like the look of regular authentics on me but I thought those were sick. Lookin around for something else I saw the authentic lo pro.

Funny thing is I can't find out definitively if they are a women's only show. I get the authentic is kinda a unbiased shoe towards sex but the lo pro seems to be marketed towards females only.

So my question is, are these unisex? I really don't care all that much but I'd rather not wear a girl specific shoe without knowing it and everyone else knowing it. I've literally never seen anyone wear lo pros whether male or female.

Yeah man I live for urbanoutfitters. But really. There just really aren't that many shoes you can wear comfortably without socks.
 
I would say they are unisex. I know a ton of guys that have them, including me (I have red ones). If you don't want to wear them without socks, you can get super low cut socks from Journeys to wear under top siders and vans and you can't see them.
 
Thanks man. Exactly the response I was looking for. And I hate wearing socks in summer. I'm even sizing a 1/2 size down to get the perfect barefoot feel.
 
im pretty sure the lo pros are unisex. but if you a dude id strongly suggest getting regular authentics. the lo pros look like chicks shoes for sure. if you dont care by all mean get them. but i personally wouldnt wear lo pros.

also posting to say authentics are by far the best shoe ever made.
 
I'm a shorter (5'9'') more petite (no homo) guy so the thick soles of reg authentics look funny on me. I dig the thin sole on the lo pros.
