Valentine 1 Rental

Hey Y'all, My name is Mike, I go to school at the University of South Carolina.

Anyways, I am going to Myrtle Beach for Spring Break, and its about a 2hr drive. Halfway through the week I have to drive to Florence SC to drop a girl off then head back to the beach and then I have the drive back to Cola at the end of the week.

Basically I cannot afford to get a speeding ticket. I have a 100mph in a 60 that will get expunged if I complete a class and have no subsequent traffic offenses. Therefore I don't even plan on speeding, not to mention I will have 4 other people in the car with me.

However I want to go a few over and I still want to get a Valentine 1 radar for the drive. I am not sure if I want to purchase one yet, is there anyway I can rent one for a week and test it out or just purchase one, use it and return it?

What would people recommend for a good fuzz buster? I'm going to tint the hell out of my Cadillac and don't feel like dealing with $135 tickets. I live in Minnesota so the legal tint is 50%.
 
the link you posted in that thread is for the concealed display only. It's pretty much just an accessory to add to your v1. Not the actual radar detector. The actual radar detector cost $400, I have one and it is totally worth it. Saved me like 4 or 5 times from getting pulled over.

Not if you want to make up a lot of time. On the way to my mountain the GPS says it should take 2 hr and I'm able to cut that time in half if the roads are empty. Why even risk it when you can be positive you won't get pulled over, and you can get to your destination significantly faster.
